History and The Friends of Great St Mary's

On 22nd April 2012, the Revd Cannon Robert Sibson conducted his last Eucharist in Gt St Mary's before his retirement. Robert and Elizabeth have now gone to live in Cambridgeshire and we are without a Vicar. The day to day running of the Church and Parish will be looked after by the Churchwardens and the Parish Office until such time as a new Vicar is appointed.
Di Kitson, Rachel Moate and Christopher Cook are our Lay Readers. Our churchwardens are Christopher Cook and Valerie Bright. Our Director of Music is David Wood
Carrie Johnson looks after the Parish Office which opens on Tuesdays and Fridays 9.00 am -12 noon.
