This Sunday is All
Saints' Day, when we shall gather to give
thanks for the saints in light and remember before
God our loved ones who have gone before us. Fr Simon
will celebrate the Eucharist and we welcome back Rev
Debbie who will be preaching.
Midweek services
We are pleased to announce that we will be offering
a midweek said Eucharist on a Wednesday morning at
10am in the chancel. The first service will take
place this Wednesday.
Streaming of
Services
We are hoping to
live stream our 09.30 Sunday Eucharist service,
however, please be aware we have a technical issue
which might mean we are unable to stream this week.
If we are able to stream, this will be available to
watch on this website and Facebook.
If we are unable to stream, St Albans Cathedral will
be live streaming there service here. Thank
you to all those who have been watching our
services.
Churchyard
Working Party
Our next churchyard working party will be on
Saturday 31 October from 09.30 to
12.00, if you are able to help please meet by the
shed. If you do have your own gardening gloves,
please could you bring them as we only have limited
numbers. Unfortunately, due to restrictions in place
we are unable to serve refreshments, but feel free
to bring your own.
Urgent Appeal for the food bank.
Our next foodbank collection is this Sunday they are
in urgent need of the following:
Sponge puddings – critical
Rice Pudding – critical.
Others items they are in need of are Small jars of
coffee, Razors, Toiletries, Fish and Christmas
treats, but please be aware mince pies have a very
short date, At the moment they have lots of pasta.
The Foodbank is happy to accept anything that can be
spared. They are under pressure now with the free
school meals vouchers for the school holidays which
they have taken on, Cathy and Ann have been busy
packing up family boxes to help that particular
cause.
Cards for good Causes, Christmas Cards
If anyone wishes to buy cards
or gifts from the Cards for Good Causes pop up shop
in the United Reform Church in Bishops Stortford,
that sadly it is unable to open this year. Cards can
be purchased from pop up shops in The Tourist
Information Centre in Hertford and St Albans
Cathedral or on their website: www.cardsforcharity.co.uk
PCC Members
The below members of our congregation make up our
PCC, those eagle-eyed readers will notice two extra
name which I missed in last week's email, apologies
to Mark and Val.

NHS Track and Trace
If you have downloaded the NHS app please do check
in as you enter the church, but please do continue
to fill in the cards and hand in at the end of the
service.
